Novogenia breaks ground on personalised healthcare campus

Novogenia AG has broken ground on a new headquarters and laboratory campus in Hallwang, Austria, designed to expand its capabilities in genetic diagnostics and personalised preventive healthcare.
The 9,300m² site will bring together laboratory diagnostics, research and development, robotic-assisted manufacturing and logistics, creating an integrated centre for the development and production of personalised healthcare products.
Novogenia develops products based on genetic analysis, including personalised dietary supplements and preventive health solutions that are marketed in more than 40 countries.
The company said the new campus will feature advanced laboratory infrastructure, automated production systems and dedicated facilities for research, collaboration and training. Up to 180 highly skilled roles are expected to be created across laboratory operations, manufacturing, product development and administration.
Daniel Wallerstorfer, CEO of Novogenia AG, said: “With our new headquarters in Hallwang, we are creating the infrastructure needed to take personalised preventive healthcare to the next level.”
He added that the investment would provide the technological capabilities and space needed to translate scientific discoveries into preventive healthcare solutions while supporting the company’s long-term international growth strategy.
The campus will also incorporate sustainable building technologies alongside facilities including an experience centre, auditorium and collaborative workspaces.
Added Wallerstorfer: “This new campus provides us with the technological capabilities and space to pursue that mission on an even larger scale. From the very beginning, it was important to us to consistently combine innovation with sustainability.”
Novogenia said bringing diagnostics, production and innovation together under one roof would help accelerate the development of personalised healthcare solutions based on human genetics, with the aim of improving preventive care for patients through more tailored approaches to health management.
