MedPharm has appointed Jason Mieding as chief operating officer (COO), a newly created role reflecting the company’s growth over the past 22 months.
Mieding will also serve as site head of MedPharm’s semisolid manufacturing facility, overseeing operational strategy, performance and execution, as well as contributing to strategic planning, capital allocation and organisational development.
He joins with experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing and operations, having held increasingly senior positions at Thermo Fisher Scientific and Patheon.
MedPharm chief executive officer Bill Humphries said Mieding’s experience in commercial pharmaceutical manufacturing and operational excellence would support the company’s continued growth and investment in its capabilities.
