
New director of market access at Celgene UK and Ireland

Celgene has announced the appointment of Nicola Redfern as director of market access, Celgene UK and Ireland.
Redfern brings a wealth of experience to her new role at Celgene, having worked in the pharma industry for over 20 years and has focused on oncology since 1997.
Most recently Redfern was director of communications and external affairs in the Oncology Business unit at Novartis, where she had a wide-ranging remit including responsibilities for health economics and outcomes research, communications, patient advocacy, government affairs and leadership of the field-based NHS development team.
Redfern said: “I am very excited to join Celgene and bring my experience to the market access team to help continue the great work Celgene has been undertaking to improve patient outcomes. There is a true need for new innovative medicines and I look forward to working with the team towards helping more patients receive access to these important treatments.”
