Further expansion for Doctors.net.uk pharma team

New hires to support and drive rapid growth

 

The pharmaceutical team at Doctors.net.uk, the UK’s largest and most active online network of healthcare professionals, has been further strengthened by four new appointments.  The hires follow a period of continued, rapid, organic and new business growth for the team. 

 

Filling the role of business development director, responsible for the delivery of first class client service and developing value for customers, is Jo Bell.  Jo brings 10 years of expertise gained within the pharmaceutical and medical devices sector, including extensive experience of providing strategic counsel and delivery of digital campaigns.  She also boasts a proven track record in business development for primary and specialist care.   

 

Jo is joined on the team by newly appointed business development managers, Paul Kelly and Lizzie Evans.  With 27 years experience spanning the pharmaceutical, market intelligence and medical device industries, both on a UK and international scale, Paul excels in delivering customer focus, change management and strategic and tactical project delivery.

 

Lizzie is a seasoned marketer with a background spanning the financial, private banking and pharmaceutical sectors.  Most recently employed as a business development manager in online communications, her expertise lies in delivering bespoke educational and promotional campaigns to engage healthcare professionals.

 

Also joining the business is Phil Oldroyd.  A Chemistry graduate and specialist in scientific contract research, Phil takes on the position of project manager. With a brief to deliver client campaigns and provide ongoing support to the account management team, Phil also assumes responsibility for the team’s PR and advertising programme.

 

Together, the new appointments are set to ensure the continued delivery of first class client service by working closely to identify and create innovative online customer engagement solutions.
