Olivier Bohuon joins Pierre Fabre

Olivier Bohuon is to replace Jean-Pierre Garnier as the head of French pharma company Pierre Fabre from September.
Bohuon is currently executive vice-president of Abbott Corporation and president of its pharmaceutical division.
He began his career at Roussel Uclaf, in Morocco (and later in the Middle East), subsequently serving as marketing director and then operations director of Glaxo France (1991-1995); chief executive and then president of SmithKline Beecham Laboratories (1995-2001), and then director of GlaxoSmithKline’s Commercial Operations, Europe (2001-2003).
Bohuon holds a Doctor of Pharmacy and is a member of the National Pharmacy Academy and the Academy of Technologies.
