Carwyn Jones and Mat Phillips (pictured) have joined the Pharmaceutical Marketing Society’s main Committee.

Carwyn, head of pharmaceutical sales at Doctors.net, has 15 years industry experience and will focus his efforts on the Society’s education sub-committee and all areas of digital media.

Carwyn said: “I’m very excited to join the PM Society Committee and look forward to being involved in moving on its digital initiatives. It plays a key role in helping its member companies improve marketing excellence and I’m keen to continue driving this forward!”

Meanwhile, Mat Phillips comes to the Committee with 22 years industry experience, the last 10 with Johnson & Johnson. He also founded the consultancy Neovoca and is a consultant at digital media agency Orital.

Mat will serve on the PM Society’s education and membership sub-committees.

He said: “This is a fascinating time to be involved in pharmaceutical marketing. The entire business model is having to change and I believe that marketing teams in particular need to adapt to a new reality that includes new channels, social media and patient engagement.”
