Monique Levy, vice president of digital innovation at healthcare data and analytics firm Decision Resources Group, is joining Google’s healthcare advisory board.

Levy is a recognised industry thought leader, analyst and strategist in the healthcare, media and technology arena. She will provide key insights on the changing healthcare industry to advance the board’s mission.

“I’m honoured to be part of this distinguished group of industry leaders and work more closely with Google to help drive innovation in healthcare,” Levy says. “Technology – from data, to experiences and devices – will play a central role in the transformation of healthcare to a value, patient-centred and outcomes-driven system.”

Ryan Olohan, who is national industry director of healthcare at Google, says: “Monique has been a thought leader in the industry and a valued partner to Google for many years so of course our team is very excited to have her join the Board.”

At Decision Resources Group, Levy helps healthcare companies understand and leverage emerging media and technology to improve business performance and customer engagement. She regularly presents cutting-edge research and analysis at industry conferences and is a frequent press contributor.

“We are thrilled to have one of our top thought leaders represent us on this high-profile, strategic board,” comments Jim Lang, chief executive of Decision Resources Group. “Monique’s renowned industry expertise makes her an outstanding addition to the group, and we are confident that she will add significant knowledge and value as the board works to discover solutions that drive innovation in healthcare.”
