
Astellas names Americas head

Astellas has appointed Tatjana Dragovic as its VP and regional compliance officer for the firm’s Americas region.
In this role Dragovic will oversee compliance strategies and programmes for the company in the US, Canada and Latin America. Dragovic succeeds Pat McCauley who has been named area VP for urology and primary care physician sales at Astellas.
Reporting in to Linda Friedman, senior VP and general counsel for Astellas in the Americas, Dragovic will have dotted line reporting to Masao Yoshida, its president and chief executive in the US. She will also become a member of Friedman’s leadership team and the Global Compliance Committee for Astellas.
Dragovic joined the firm in 2007 as senior corporate attorney and was subsequently promoted to assistant general counsel, and then associate general counsel, litigation.
“During her career at Astellas, Tatjana has made significant contributions in the legal area and she is extremely well regarded by her colleagues and clients,” says Friedman.
