Rebrand for Just:: comms agency

London-based healthcare agency Just:: Health PR has changed its name to Just:: Health Communications.
The move is in response to new market demands the firm says, rather than the announcement of significant new operations or services.
Speaking to Pharmafile, director Laura Chambers said: “We’ve changed our name because, although we still do PR, we do a lot of other things as well now and we want to reflect that.”
Just:: was founded in 2006 by former Chandler Chicco executives Jennie Talman and Emma Crozier. Currently employing a team of 33 at its Wandsworth offices it is the UK’s third-largest independent healthcare agency.
It has worked on briefs including Pfizer’s smoking cessation drug Champix, and last year ran an HIV consultancy campaign on behalf of Pfizer/GSK collaboration ViiV Healthcare.
As part of a pro bono initiative, it also offers its services free of charge to a different charity each year – previous clients have included the Alzheimer’s Society and the Meningitis Trust.
The firm has worked on communications campaigns covering a wide variety of medical issues, including COPD, sexual health and prostate cancer. In 2012, the agency expanded into political relations, with the launch of a new department headed by former head of public affairs at Cancer Research UK, Jon Spiers.
Chambers said: “The world of healthcare communications has dramatically changed in the last few years. An increasingly diverse mix of stakeholders means that we need to be smart about finding the most effective communications approach.”
She added: “It might be through media engagement which is still a core speciality, but it could also be about political and public engagement, market access communications or medical education.”
