In the pharma industry, we tend to use a lot of acronyms. Even in every day life, we are shortening our language.

Take for example FOMO, which is “Fear of Missing out.” No one wants to be left out, and that’s why I want to invite you to a major industry conference on 10-12 June.

Barcelona will play host to Veeva R&D Summit, Europe next month. This annual conference will be the place for more than 350 European R&D professionals to debate how we can move the pharma industry forward.

The agenda features three tracks dedicated to business areas within R&D and another track specifically for an IT audience. With more than 40 sessions, here are a few I’d like to highlight:

During the clinical track, we’ll hear from organisations, such as AstraZeneca, Cancer Research UK, and Transgene on how they are unifying their clinical processes to improve trial efficiency and compliance. We’ll also hear from Ferring about its methodologies to collaborate with different CROs.

In the quality track, we’ll discuss how and why the industry is modernizing quality management systems. Bayer Healthcare will share thoughts on Pharma 4.0. Aspen Pharmacare and Alvotech will explain how they use Veeva Vault QualityDocs to address the new reality of digital pharma.

The regulatory track will feature case studies of RIM system transformation. For example, BMS will share insights into change management at a local level, and Shire Pharmaceuticals will discuss how it implemented Veeva Vault Registrations during a complex time.

Vault Foundations, tailored for IT, is the track to attend to learn more about best practices for implementations, migrations, and integrations. There will also be a preview of Veeva Vault’s latest platform-level capabilities.

Have I caught your interest? If you’re not already registered, I suggest you sign up today to avoid FOMO!
