Medidata has announced the launch of its Medidata Site Insights Program – a collection of initiatives intended to foster more effective dialogue between sites and accelerate the delivery of therapies to patients.

Medidata, a subsidiary of Dassault Systèmes, is a technology company that provides software as a service (SaaS) solutions for clinical trials, helping life sciences companies accelerate research and therapies.

Robin Douglas, vice president of research site engagement at Medidata, commented: “By including the site voice in our ongoing discussions, we’re not just streamlining clinical trial processes and enhancing technology but helping our clients to deliver effective treatments to patients sooner.”

The development follows WCG’s results from its 2023 Clinical Research Site Challenges Report, which showed that 47% of sites find it difficult to adopt new technologies and systems. Medidata intends to address this issue using its new programme and its initiatives.

One new initiative involves an established Executive Site Advisory Board. This is a select group of leading industry executives who will use their therapeutic experience and access to patient populations to inform Medidata’s solutions.

Another consists of a new virtual communication platform, Engage, which provides real-time feedback to improve the alignment of products with evolving needs and site challenges.
