Takeda appoints new chief financial officer

Takeda Pharmaceuticals has named James Kehoe its new chief financial officer.
He will begin the role on June 15 2016, and be based in Tokyo where he will report directly to the Christophe Weber, president and CEO at Takeda.
Kehoe brings a wealth of experience from the consumer goods sector to the role. Having gained his MSc in Finance from University College Dublin, Kehoe held senior finance roles at companies such as Kraft Foods Group, Mondelez and Gildan Activewear.
Weber comments: “James Kehoe’s passion for transforming large organisations to achieve higher performance will hold him in good stead as he leads the global finance team to further elevate the company’s business performance and help Takeda deliver its growth ambitions.
“We also believe that James’s values are very much aligned with Takeda’s values and that his personal style will work well with the Takeda executive team and the finance leadership team.”
