STADA appoints Ole Wendler Pedersen as Executive VP Legal and General Counsel

German pharmaceutical company STADA has announced the appointment of Ole Wendler Pedersen as its new Executive Vice President Legal and General Counsel.
Pedersen brings over two decades of international legal experience to the role. He was most recently Group General Counsel & Senior Vice President at Lundbeck, a global pharmaceutical company specialising in developing innovative treatments for brain diseases. In this role, Pedersen oversaw areas such as legal, compliance, corporate governance and trademarks. Prior to this, he held multiple leadership roles at Novo Nordisk, including Regional General Counsel, Vice President of Legal, Compliance & Quality for Novo Nordisk Europe.
“Ole brings a strategic and operational business focus, ranging from research and development and manufacturing to commercial functions and overseeing complex merger and acquisition processes,” Peter Goldschmidt, CEO of STADA, said. “His significant experience of organisational build-out and transformational leadership across different therapeutic areas and regions will further strengthen Legal as an essential business function within STADA.”
Pedersen takes over the role from Christoph Dengler, who is leaving after almost 14 years at STADA to pursue other career opportunities.
STADA’s focus is on consumer healthcare products, generics and specialty pharma.
