PR firm Porter Novelli has announced that Fenella Grey has been named as its deputy managing director.

Grey joined the company whose healthcare clients include Roche, Boehringer Ingelheim and Bayer on 1 October and will report to Sally Ward, president, EMEA and managing director.

“Fenella is a world-class integrated communications expert who brings an impressive track record in portfolio building and revenue growth to our UK team,” said Ward.

Grey brings 17 years of cross-practice agency experience to her new role at the firm. Prior to joining the agency, she spent six years as a board director with Freud Communications in London, serving on a senior management team.

“I am confident Fenella’s expertise in holistic, ideas-driven communications and history in leading large teams will serve us well as she focuses on the UK aspect of that plan,” Ward added.

Grey added: “Porter Novelli is at a critical inflection point in its history, poised for significant expansion across many global markets. I am delighted with the opportunity to work closely with Sally to spearhead those efforts in the UK.”
