Anna assumes responsibility for all business operations, overseeing the research team and providing strategic marketing information and business insight to the healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors. She will also lead the development of new products and services including medeConnect’s strategic international research and syndicated services offerings.
Anna joins from Double Helix where she formed part of the senior leadership team, as director of strategic marketing research. Previous to that, she spent 16 years with healthcare market research leader TNS, latterly as global strategic board director, before going on to found and establish her own market research agency.
With more than 20 years’ experience, Anna has a wealth of expertise in leading national and international research programmes covering both sophisticated qualitative and quantitative research approaches and is a seasoned and passionate advocate of the discipline, having convened Master Classes on a range of international research subject areas including segmentation, product positioning and War Gaming.
Anna will report to Doctors.net.uk chief executive, Richard Adams, who said: “medeConnect is a critical component of the Doctors.net.uk offering to clients and it is key to our international expansion plans.
“We are delighted to attract an individual of Anna’s calibre and we will make excellent use of her expertise in domestic and cross-border healthcare market research.”
Anna added: “I’m excited to be joining a business that is at the forefront of healthcare research, and that has such ambitious objectives. With an ever increasing number of marketers and researchers now appreciating the amazing reach of digital media, the market research paradigm is shifting away from traditional research channels. As part of doctors.net.uk, medeConnect is uniquely positioned to embrace the new research opportunities that these channels present.”
MedeConnect’s clients include nine out of ten of the UK’s largest pharmaceutical companies and public sector organisations such as the Department of Health and the National Audit Office. For more information please visit http://www.medeconnect.net/.
