LEO Pharma appoints Helle Hedegaard Juhl as EVP of global people & corporate affairs

Danish dermatology company, LEO Pharma, announced the appointment of new executive vice president (EVP) of global people and corporate affairs, Helle Hedegaard Juhl, who joined the leadership team on July 1. The announcement forms part of wider leadership changes to advance the company’s long-term development.

Juhl brings a wealth of experience in a variety of HR roles within the pharma industry. Prior to joining LEO, she served as chief human resources officer at Esteve, based in Barcelona, Spain. Additionally, she spent 16 years at Lundbeck, a Danish pharma company, in a number of HR roles including global HR manager and HR senior director.

“I am really looking forward to being part of the LEO Pharma team and to meeting colleagues from across the organisation,” said Hedegaard Juhl. “I’m excited to contribute to the next stage of LEO Pharma’s transformation journey.”

“Helle has a highly experienced profile,” commented CEO Christophe Bourdon. Her appointment “strengthens the capabilities of the HR team while focusing on shaping our unique culture.”

Meanwhile, LEO pharma has split product strategy and international operations, appointing Frederik Kier as EVP of international operations. Recruitment for a new EVP of global product strategy is underway.
