Hans Regenauer joins Sanofi-Aventis’ consumer division

Sanofi-Aventis has appointed Han Regenauer vice president, consumer healthcare, Europe and global development.
In his new role he will report to senior vice president of Sanofi’s European pharmaceutical operations Belen Garijo.
Regenauer moves to the French company from Boehringer Ingelheim, where he was senior vice president of consumer healthcare.
Regenauer holds a degree in international business administration and has extensive experience in the consumer healthcare industry.
From 1985 to 1997 he held various positions with Bayer in marketing, sales and general management in Germany, Guatemala, Austria and Spain.
He subsequently joined Boehringer Ingelheim in 1997 as head of consumer healthcare, Europe and in 2004, became senior vice president, consumer healthcare, at the company.
Sanofi said in a statement that it plans to announce further other appointments in its consumer healthcare division shortly.
