Healthcare comms start-up Frontera London has appointed industry veteran Frank Walters as its non-executive chairman.
Frank was previously creative director at TBWA/Paling Walters. He sits as a judge at a number of major awards including the IPAs, for which he convened this year’s panel.
He said: “Our ambition is to provide health with a much needed, progressive approach. An approach that reminds everyone of the crucial role that creativity plays in tackling health challenges.
“My role in that for Frontera can best be summed up as the spiritual and product ambassador: We’re building a talented team, that hails from a range of backgrounds – consumer and healthcare, client as well as agency. For creative thinking to thrive, it has to be supported by a progressive, honest and collaborative culture. And we have to take the clients with us on that journey. But it starts by ensuring we offer our clients outstanding work”.
Frontera was launched earlier this year by former McCann Healthcare managing director Craig Mills, who plans to announce a number of other senior appointments at the agency later this month
He said: “Our one firm belief is in the Power of Good – that principle that good ideas deliver the results that our clients seek. Having Frank on the team can only enhance our ability to achieve this.”
