UK charity The Biogerontology Research Foundation has appointed Dmitry Kaminskiy to its board of trustees.
Kaminskiy is the managing director of Deep Knowledge Ventures (DKV), a venture capital firm in Hong Kong that specialises in financing companies and research into age-related diseases and regenerative medicine.
Before joining DKV, Kaminskiy co-founded and helped finance the Center for Biogerontology and Regenerative Medicine (CBRM) in Russia.
“We are happy that Dmitry Kaminskiy, who set an example for many by re-focussing his career from banking and technology entrepreneurship to academic philanthropy and supporting research in ageing, is joining our board of trustees”, says Alex Zhavoronkov, director of the BGRF.
