Alliance Pharmaceuticals appoints new head of international business

Alliance Pharmaceuticals has appointed Karim Husny as head of international business- a role in which he will support all Alliance brands, including MacuShield, a nutritional supplement for eye health, recently acquired by the company.

Husny – who will be based in Paris – brings a wealth of experience in growing healthcare businesses. Alliance noted his excellent international over the counter and consumer healthcare experience, as well as his impressive record with a number of major European companies, including Laboratoire de la Mer and latterly Omega Pharma.
