
GCI Health appoints Aneeb Sharif as EMEA head of policy

Healthcare communications agency, GCI Health, has announced the appointment of Aneeb Sharif as Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) head of policy. Sharif will lead the agency’s policy team, steering its public affairs and broadening the agency’s client portfolio across the region.
Sharif brings over 15 years of experience in healthcare policy analysis, strategic communication and patient advocacy. Prior to GCI, he worked at Syneos Health in numerous senior leadership roles. Through directing the policy communications and patient engagement team, he grew the agency’s public affairs practice across the US and Europe. He also served as vice president of health at Edelman as well as senior account supervisor at MSL, both global public relations firms.
In his new role, Sharif will work closely with Kath Harrison, president of EMEA region and Ryan Kuresman, global head of public affairs and health policy.
