Qlucore has announced that it has entered into an agreement with Sahlgrenska Hospital, in Gothenberg, Sweden. This agreement means the hospital will be able to use the Qlucore Insights software in order to improve the diagnosis of acute lymphoblastic leukaemia (ALL) in children.

This agreement marks an expansion for Qlucore, as this is the companyโ€™s first precision diagnostics order in Sweden, despite having existing customers in both Denmark and Italy.

The company aims to โ€œhelp customers develop analyses that contribute to a more accurate diagnosis, enabling clinicians to make more informed treatment choices,โ€ according to the press release. This is especially in ALL, as this is the most common form of childhood leukaemia as it impacts 90% of children who are diagnosed with leukaemia.

Carl-Johan Ivarsson, chief executive officer of Qlucore, commented: โ€œOur solutions will facilitate and enable improved diagnostics of cancer; in this case, acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL). The goal is to make it easier for the doctor to make a diagnosis and decide how the disease should be treated, and for the patients to receive more precise treatment.โ€
