
Pfizer India names S Sridhar MD

Pfizer India (BOM: 500680) has named S Sridhar the company’s managing director for a five-year term, effective March 18.
Sridhar has served as the company’s chief financial officer for seven years, and was appointed the executive director in May 2013.
Sridhar has also concurrently led the company’s distribution business for three years, and is currently heading Pfizer India’s anti-infective, cardio-vascular and ophthalmology business.
Last year, Aijaz Tobaccowalla, the head of Pfizer’s India business moved to the US with a new role in Pfizer Inc (NYSE: PFE).
Before joining Pfizer, Sridhar was the finance director of Diageo India.
