Pott is a board member at Freudenberg and Schott. He is also chairman of the University Council of the University of Cologne, and from 2002 to 2013 served on the Bayer board with responsibility for strategy and HR. He was the company’s Labour director and accountable for the Americas, Africa and Middle East business regions.
