New CFO for Echo Therapeutics

US medical device firm Echo Therapeutics has appointed Alan Schoenbart as its chief financial officer.

Schoenbart who has more than 30 years of financial management experience, joins Echo from Hudson News Distributors where he recently fulfilled the same job role. 

Prior to that he served as the CFO for Forticell Bioscience, and has also held positions at Vizacom and the Windswept Environmental Group. Schoenbart was also an audit manager at KPMG in Short Hills, New Jersey.

“Throughout his extensive career, Alan has consistently demonstrated exceptional business acumen in a variety of financial roles that will be key as we continue to build the corporate infrastructure necessary to support the advancement of our development pipeline,” says Scott Hollander, president and chief executive of Echo Therapeutics.
