J&J appoints head of marketing in northern Europe

Johnson & Johnson has appointed Yana Ignatova to the position of head of marketing for its northern Europe division.

Reporting in to Pat Smallcombe who is the area managing director for that department, Ignatova joins from Procter & Gamble and is to oversee all the firm’s franchises: consumer health/nutritionals and OTC baby and beauty.

Ignatova spent 17 years at Procter & Gamble working across Europe, North America and Asia. Most recently she was based in the US in the role of marketing director, global corporate innovation strategy & global brand franchise operations, where she led the creation of the P&G corporate brand equity and strategies.
