
Robert Brooks joins Achilles from Abbott

Supply chain firm Achilles has hired Dr Robert Brooks to be a Business Development director from pharma firm Abbott.
Brooks brings with him a wealth of experience in the pharma industry, previously working as a lead consultant for Abbott, but most recently AbbVie.
Brooks’s expertise includes health and safety, production, operations, supply chain, logistics and procurement. Highlights of his career include delivering multi-million pound projects and programmes for major pharma industry companies, as well as working in global roles for Abbott at divisional and corporate level.
Brooks said: “I’m thrilled to be joining Achilles in a role that brings a collaborative approach to supply chain risk evaluation and management for the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries – and I look forward to putting my professional passion into bringing value to the sector and it’s wider community.
Chief executive of Achilles, Adrian Chamberlain, added: “We are delighted to appoint someone of Robert’s calibre to join our business as we seek to realise our ambitious growth plans in pharma.”
