Edelman appoints new head of digital health

Edelman has appointed Dave Pinnington as head of digital health for Europe to lead the development of the PR firm’s digital healthcare offering.
Dave was previously commercial director of the largest online community of doctors in the UK and during his career to date has worked with many of the leading pharmaceutical companies.
He said: “I am passionate about digital technology and very excited about the opportunity to join such a preeminent force in digital communications.
“Technology represents a huge opportunity for pharmaceutical companies and for the health sector in general and I am looking forward to combining my knowledge and experience of developing successful integrated/multi-channel marketing campaigns that help maximise brand opportunity with the award-winning digital capabilities at Edelman.”
The world’s largest independent public relations firm, Edelman has a 60-strong UK health team spanning PR, medical education, market access and digital influence.
