Just Health PR has appointed Tamsin Tierney to the newly created role of director.

Tamsin was previously at Hill & Knowlton where she headed up significant international and UK accounts and was part of the UK senior management team.

Tamsin will report in to Emma Crozier and Jennie Talman, joint managing directors who founded the agency in February 2006.

“Tamsin is joining us at an exciting time for the agency.  We have seen considerable organic growth from existing clients this year and we are optimistic about 2010. Tamsin will be working across pan-European and UK accounts as well as strengthening Just’s capabilities in implementing campaigns outside of the UK,“ said Crozier.

“Despite our caution due to the uncertain economic climate going into 2009, we have had a very strong year. In particular, we have been able to focus on growing our consumer health business,” said Talman. “Our new hires contribute to a dynamic team with an interesting mix of skills and backgrounds,” she added.

The agency now employs 24 staff, having added six consultants to the team in 2009.

New accounts for Just this year include working for Allergan on their gastric band, Lap-Band and also a programme to raise awareness of miniCol, a cholesterol-lowering cheese from Emmi UK.
