Woolley Pau has been appointed by Chiron Biopharma Europe to work on a pan-European launch campaign, following a four-way pitch.

A spokesperson for Chiron said: "Woolley Pau was chosen for its creativity – the sort that comes from a strong strategic understanding."

Woolley Pau will be working on a 'through-the-line' campaign for Chiron that will include professional press materials and detail aids.

A spokesperson for Woolley Pau commented: "We are delighted to be working with the team at Chiron and look forward to helping them achieve a successful launch."

This is the first time the agency has worked with Chiron, but a number of  Woolley Pau's team have experience in the therapy area they will be working on.

The two most advanced products in Chiron Biopharma's pipeline are Pulminiq, an inhaled drug to treat chronic lung transplant rejection, and the antibiotic Cubicin.

Last year Chiron submitted Cubicin to the EMEA for approval under the EU's centralised approval procedure and Pulminiq has been submitted to the FDA with a decision expected in July.
