Universal WorldEvents has marked its first anniversary by revealing a significant increase in the number of events organised by the agency from 2011 compared to 2010.
2011 has seen the agency manage more than 1700 meetings and events – an increase from just over 1100 in 2010. Total delegate numbers have also risen from 100,000 in 2010 to over 145,000 in 2011, with events taking place in 47 countries throughout the world.
Formed in March 2011 by the merger of leading healthcare specialist agencies; UniversalProcon and WorldEvents; the agency is the largest full service global event management company specialising in serving the healthcare sector. With 35 years experience of delivering meetings and events, the agency has over 250 employees located in offices across the UK, the US, France, Germany, Spain, Italy and Hong Kong.
Out of the above statistics, the company has been responsible for organising 200+ Investigator Meetings, attendance at 350+ congresses, 175 Advisory Boards and KOL Meetings plus over 500 internal meetings and training events.
Managing Director Graham McIntosh said: “It is really encouraging to see such an increase in the number of meetings and events we have organised for our clients. Specifically encouraging is the number of events delivered by our newer international offices, and to see them establishing a presence in key markets.”
