Teva to lay off 236 in Pomona, New York

Teva is currently in the process of winding down operations at its manufacturing plant in Pomona, New York as it prepares to close the facility for economic reasons, according to the Department of Labor.

The closing will affect all 236 employees at the site; layoffs began last week and will continue until the final closure on 28 Feb. Employees at the Pomona plant are represented by a number of unions including the Allied Industrial and Service Workers International Union and United Steel.
