London-based advertising agency TBWA\ Paling Walters has promoted Steve Morris and Ed Shorthose to the roles of managing partners.
They will continue to have responsibility to deliver directly for their clients, but each will take on an additional responsibility and join Andy Hayley, Frank Walters, Russell Speed and John Wilson on the management board of the agency.
Morris’ remit is one of talent acquisition and retention, while Shorthose will focus on ensuring clients’ diversifying needs are met.
Andy Hayley, managing director, said: “Agencies traditionally have client services directors leading their account handling departments. But this refreshing approach will ensure a management board that is more reflective of client needs delivered through competent, motivated teams.”
