SHL attends the 2013 Japan PDA

SHL once again had the honor of being invited to participate and speak at the PDA Japan 2013 (日本PDA製薬学会), which took place May 21st – 22nd in Tokyo, Japan. Over 150 attendees from the industry attended the event and many established experts from the parenteral drug industry also spoke on various hot topics.
This year, Marketing Director Steven Kaufman chose to speak on the topic of “Steps Towards Bringing A Combination Product to Market: What path should we take?” where he shared with the conference attendees current trends and suggestions on combination product projects which require collaborative efforts from both a biopharmaceutical company and a device manufacturer company like SHL. Many great questions were asked and discussed during the presentation and many inquiries were also brought to the SHL table where the latest company materials were readily available for attendees to view and take. Device demonstrations were also provided at the table in both English and Japanese and conversations continued even after the event ended. Overall the event was a great success and SHL will continue to work alongside both existing and prospective Japanese customers to better understand their markets and demands.
