Rock Medical Communications has been launched as part of the Creston Health group.
The company will deliver medical education programmes, and will work with other Creston Health agencies on projects with a wider marketing remit.
The Creston Health group already includes Red Door Communications, PAN Advertising and TMWdigitalhealth.
Rock will be headed by Red Door's Joanne Satchell and she will continue to report to Red Door's managing director Catherine Warne.
Satchell said: "We believe medical education is the foundation on which a brand can grow – no matter what stage in its lifecycle.
"Impactful educational programmes built on true insights and market experience can help products establish their place and fulfil their true potential."
Satchell will lead a team of writers and strategists in delivering the company's medical education programmes.
"We've got a wealth of experience across a broad range of markets and therapeutic categories," she said. "But we're not afraid to challenge and encourage our clients to think again about how they approach their med ed activities.
"Brand success has to be the goal, but creativity and lateral thinking can be useful stepping stones to achieving it."
