Reynolds-MacKenzie has made two new senior hires and an internal promotion to help drive its UK and international operations.
The move comes as part of the growth strategy for PR firm that focuses on communications for the health and pharma industry.
Nita Ares has been appointed as director and head of UK operations and has over 15 years’ experience running UK campaigns, both agency-side and in-house at the NHS.
Ares previously worked at Biosector 2 where she was a senior consultant for 18 months. Prior to that she worked at Ketchum, where as part of its senior leadership team she championed its domestic healthcare offering as well as heading up several key UK accounts over a seven-year period.
To lead the international side of the business, Reynolds-MacKenzie has recruited Jennifer Garratt, who has over 12 years’ experience of PR and medical education.
She was most recently at Burson-Marsteller, where she led the healthcare team and oversaw the running of the agency’s key global and pan-European accounts.
The promotion of Monica Small to director level completes the new-look leadership team. Small takes on the directorship after six years with the agency and will provide strategic counsel to both international and UK clients.
“The new look leadership team at Reynolds-MacKenzie comprises some of the most talented and committed people in our business,” said Eva Reynolds.
“We are confident that having this new team in place will not only help us optimise our excellent client service, which no doubt draws our clients to Reynolds-MacKenzie, but also ensure we keep growing our client base and continue to succeed long-term,” she added.
