Contract research and consulting firm Quintiles has launched two new services to help pharma improve their chances of developing and marketing medicines in the region.
A new Strategic Drug Development organisation will help the industry design and implement drug development strategies that take into account the Asia product commercialisation opportunity and regulatory hurdles in advance of the standardised development process.
“Our goal is not only to help our customers meet their needs in the region, but also to help define them,” said Amar Kureishi, vice president and chief medical officer for Quintiles in Asia.
“Although we are only now launching the formal service, our world-class team has already worked with our customers on more than 15 projects to transform their development aspirations to a reality.”
Meanwhile Quintiles Consulting practice has also been launched in Asia, led by Christian Gabel, vice president and head of consulting at Quintiles Asia.
The consulting group will help customers navigate the healthcare environment by linking business strategy, industry expertise and data-driven insights within six practice areas to deliver transformational change.
