In Lyon, France, over 2,200 life sciences supply chain professionals gathered for LogiPharma 2025, a leading conference dedicated to supply chain and logistics in pharma, biotech and medtech. It was the largest in the history of the conference and showcased a prioritisation shift of focus to sustainability and artificial intelligence (AI) issues.

The conference spotlights the latest supply chain innovations, involving strategic announcements, product launches and panel conversations. Executives from leading pharma companies discussed contemporary challenges and opportunities in global healthcare logistics, covering digitalisation, AI and risk mitigation, to name a few.

The companies’ “insight into emerging technologies and the human side of supply chain leadership reflected just how far – and how fast – the industry is evolving,” said LogiPharma’s conference director, Will Robinson.
There were a number of standout announcements including DB Schenker partnering with TOWT, a leader in sail-powered cargo shipping to advance its novel decarbonised shipping solution for healthcare products.

Cold Chain Technologies debuted its CCT Tower Elite, a product seeking to reshape the efficiency of temperature-sensitive shipping.

Upcoming exhibitor PluumoPlus debuted its biodegradable thermal packaging made using recycled feather instead of conventional Expanded Polystyrene Foam (EPS). It both reduces landfill waste and improves insulation.

“LogiPharma remains the go-to platform for the life sciences supply chain community to spotlight real innovation,” said Jake Brown, sponsorship director at LogiPharma.

The conference in 2026 will take place in Vienna, Austria.
