
Nanoform establishes US subsidiary

Nanoform has set up an American subsidiary, ‘Nanoform USA’, due to increasing demand for the companies CESS technology.
Its patented CESS technology can double the amount of compounds progressing into clinic and this can lead to a significant increase in the number od drugs that reach the market.
Miguel Calado, Vice Chairman of the Nanoform Board, said: “I am thrilled we are establishing Nanoform USA Inc. With this strategic expansion, we now have a strong foundation on which to continue to grow our presence in the US.”
The establishment of the USA branch follows the appointment of Sally Langa as the head of US sales. She had previously worked at Catalent Pharma, Patheon and Halo Pharmaceutical.
Professor Edward Haeggstrom, Nanoform CEO, said: “We are tremendously excited to have officially established our presence in the US with a wholly owned subsidiary. This comes as a natural next step for our company as we continue to expand the reach of our nanonisation technology.”
