IQVIA and Veeva Systems have announced the formation of global partnerships covering clinical and commercial services. IQVIA provides advanced analytics, technology solutions and clinical research services to pharma companies. Meanwhile, Veeva offers cloud-based software, data and consulting services.
The agreements will allow customers to use software, data, technology and service offerings from both organisations together under simplified arrangements.
On the commercial side, the partnerships include master data and third-party access agreements enabling the use of IQVIA data in Veeva software platforms such as Network, Nitro and Veeva AI. Veeva data will also be available for integration into IQVIA’s commercial services. Additionally, IQVIA has joined Veeva’s Technology, AI and Services Partner Program to support interoperability across both companies’ systems.
In clinical research, IQVIA has joined Veeva’s Clinical Research Organisation Clinical Data Partner programme, allowing IQVIA to use the Veeva Clinical Suite to support study builds and data management. Customers are expected to benefit from faster database builds, study locks and improved data delivery.
Peter Gassner, Veeva’s founder and chief executive, said: “We are committed to supporting frictionless product and services integration with IQVIA for the benefit of our joint customers and the industry overall.”
