The Institute of Clinical Research (ICR) is to hold its next annual spring conference and exhibition on 19-20 April at the Hilton London Metropole Hotel in Paddington.
Responding to member feedback, the ICR has moved from its recent venue in Birmingham to the capital where its proximity to the M4 corridor and the south, and the excellent transport links for the rest of the country, should ensure a high number of delegates.
ICR chief executive John Hooper said: "It was important for us to get the date and venue of next year's conference secured early as it is considered the flagship event for the clinical research industry not only by our members but also by all those involved in clinical research."
The ICR has also confirmed that the theme for the 2010 Annual Spring Conference will be Science, Society and Economics – shaping the future of clinical research.
John added: "We chose this title as we want to embrace what is happening in the world and how it impacts upon clinical research. Also, it reflects how clinical research is part of everyday life and is therefore affected by everyday issues, such as the economy and wider issues in society."
