PR firm Fishburn Hedges has been appointed by the Health Foundation to review and refresh the charity’s corporate communications.

The Health Foundation undertook a major rebranding exercise in 2010, and says it now wants to consolidate this work by honing its communications.

The research-based charity looks to work with patients and healthcare professionals on issues such as patient-centred care, shared decision-making and improving safety and quality in healthcare.

It says the review is particularly important at a time of huge change in the NHS in England.

We are excited to be working with them, to help communicate their mission and the impact of their work.”

Helen Bradburn, director of Public Affairs and Communications at the Health Foundation, said: “We were very impressed by Fishburn Hedges’ strong understanding of the environment in which we are communicating, and their methodical approach to the task. We feel they are the right partner to help us better communicate our relevance in tackling the challenges facing the NHS.”
