Ferring Pharmaceuticals has moved its UK operations from Slough to new facilities just outside London in West Drayton.
The Swiss company said it was committed to further developing its franchise in the UK, despite the challenging global economic environment.
UK general manager Steve Howson said: “Our new headquarters represent a substantial investment in our business operation and will provide our personnel with significantly improved facilities as well as allowing the company to continue the double-digit growth it has shown in the UK in recent years.”
The firm focuses on endocrinology, gastroenterology, reproductive health and urology, and last year reached global sales of 1 billion euros.
It new UK offices are at the historic and recently refurbished Drayton Hall, and include a purpose-built conference area, meeting rooms, spacious offices for 50 people and landscaped grounds.
The Grade II listed building was built in the 18th century for Lord Boston and later home to the exiled President Louis-Napoleon Bonaparte in 1872 until his death a year later.
Its more recent occupants have included The London Borough of Hillingdon and it was the group headquarters of United Biscuits for more than 20 years until 2001.
