Buckingham Palace has announced that Digital Control Room, a software platform that monitors companies’ online content, will receive a King’s Award for Enterprise for Innovation. The award recognises how the company’s platform supports content compliance in highly regulated sectors, such as pharma.
Established in London in 2011, Digital Control Room has developed a software platform that autonomically monitors companies’ online content on a global scale, ensuring it remains accurate. This reduces incompliance issues caused by content being customised, repurposed, inadvertently used or out-of-date, making it particularly useful in highly regulated sectors.
The King’s Awards for Enterprise celebrates the success of exciting and innovative businesses with pioneering products. Since it was established in 1965, over 8,000 companies have received the award. Companies are able to use the King’s Awards Emblem for five years after they have received it.
As the most prestigious award for business success in the UK, being given the King’s Award reflects transformative support that Digital Control Room has provided for pharma companies, among others. Its pharma clients include AstraZeneca and Sanofi.
On winning the award, founder and CEO Stephen Hickey commented: “I am honoured that Digital Control Room has won a King’s Award for Enterprise as it provides global recognition of our team’s ability and dedication.”
He added: “We are also proud to have become a valued provider in pharma, financial services and other regulated industries.”
Digital Control Room will be given the award at the King’s Reception at Windsor Castle this summer.
