Life science logistics specialist, Biocair, has announced the opening of a new office in Shanghai, marking a significant expansion of its operations across the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. It forms part of Biocair’s wider global growth strategy to deliver complete end-to-end logistics support for life science customers.

The new site, also housing a warehouse, is double the size of Biocair’s previous Shanghai location and is strategically situated near Pudong International Airport and the Zhangjiang Hi-Tech Pharma Valley.

The move follows a period of rapid growth for the company, with Biocair reporting 25% business growth in the APAC region during the first half of 2025. The Shanghai office becomes Biocair’s eighth in the region since initially establishing a presence there in 2009.

“This new office in Shanghai will enable the Biocair team to continue to support our growing portfolio of APAC clients, as well as our global clients looking to ship goods to the region,” said Kevin Xu, APAC general manager of Biocair.

The new site brings operations, sales, and transportation teams together to enhance collaboration and efficiency. Specifically, the Biocair’s Shanghai team offers regional expertise in customs regulations, the local transport network and an extensive range of temperature-controlled logistics solutions – from controlled ambient and refrigerated to frozen and cryogenic shipping.
