Virgo health bolsters senior team with new hires

The newly named Virgo Consumer Health & Wellbeing welcomes two new joiners – Matthew Coy and Reena Patel (both pictured), increasing the team to 13.

Consumer health expert Coy joins as senior account director from Tonic Life with over ten years’ experience, leading campaigns for OTC painkiller Nurofen, Durex comdoms and Seven Seas’ range of vitamins.

Patel joins as senior account manager, working on sk:n clinics, Scholl, Veet, E45, Clearasil and Optrex. As a beauty specialist, she previously worked as a lifestyle journalist and more recently as an award-winning freelance PR.

Both join at a time when the Virgo Consumer Health & Wellbeing team has expanded with a new name that reflects the broader proposition and range of brands Virgo’s consumer division are now supporting, from Veet to sk:n clinics, from analgesics to air fresheners.

Natasha Weeks, associate director at Virgo Consumer Health & Wellbeing, says: “Matt and Reena make excellent additions to our growing team, now with specialists across three main areas – Healthcare (OTC), Beauty & Personal care and Wellbeing & lifestyle.

“They will both be driving a number of exciting campaigns and will be instrumental as we continue to broaden our client portfolio in 2014.”
