
Uniphar appoints new global head of Scientific Communications

Global partner to pharma, medtech and biotech companies Uniphar has announced the appointment of industry leader Isaac Batley as its new global head of Scientific Communications.
He will lead the growth of Uniphar’s medical communications capabilities, focusing on integrating scientific insights to benefit healthcare professionals, patients and stakeholders.
Isaac Batley, new global head of Scientific Communications at Uniphar, commented: “Medical communications is the unifying thread that ties together the extensive service areas and capabilities that Uniphar has to offer. It touches every aspect of the organisation and presents an exciting opportunity to bring these capabilities together in a way that delivers impactful and meaningful results. My remit will cover the whole organisation, working to integrate and present Uniphar’s expertise in new and innovative ways.”
Batley has over 35 years in healthcare and pharma communications, including serving as CEO at SCIRIS, holding a director-level role at Quintiles, and leading the European Leadership Team at Cello Health and becoming chairman. He began his career working with top pharma companies such as AstraZeneca, Sanofi and Pfizer.
