Red Door Communications has bolstered its senior account handling team by re-hiring Sarah Aldridge as account director.

Aldridge (pictured) has spent the last two years in her native Australia, working at Sydney-based healthcare communications agency Cube PR where she led launch campaigns on hepatitis C, contraception and hereditary angioedema – and also helped create an advocacy network among rare disease groups to encourage capacity building and information sharing.

Prior to working for Cube, Aldridge spent three years at Red Door Communications where she rose to senior account manager and worked on a variety of accounts including running the press office for the College of Emergency Medicine and pre-launch and launch programmes for Sanofi Pasteur MSD’s vaccine portfolio.

Catherine Oliver, managing director of Red Door Communications says she is delighted to welcome Aldridge back to the team.  “We were very sad to see Sarah go home to Australia so are delighted that in returning to the UK she’s also returning to us.  Sarah is a talented account handler and a popular member of the team.”

Red Door senior team has been further strengthened by the promotion of Nicky Walsby to deputy managing director.

“Nicky has over the past year taken on broader responsibility than just the UK ethical business and will now formerly deputise for me,” said Oliver. “Nicky has been with RDC for nine years, she is a tenacious business woman and deserves this recognition for her increased responsibilities.”
