Takeda appoints new business unit director

Takeda UK has appointed Craig Adkins as the new director of its its inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) business unit.

Adkins joins the senior leadership team having spent 18 months in Takeda’s Zurich office leading projects across the Europe and Canada region.

He has almost 20 years of experience working in the pharma industry, with a long history at Takeda having joined in 2005 as a regional account director.

Commenting on the appointment is Yasuhiro Fukutomi, who is the managing director of Takeda UK: “We are delighted to have Craig back in the UK and joining the senior leadership team.

“He brings with him a wealth of invaluable international experience to complement the expertise of our existing senior leadership team and we have no doubt that his experience and ability to lead teams will see him deliver the same success he has achieved in the past.”
