Synexus has appointed Dr Helena Sigal as country manager for Germany and Radoslaw Janiak as country manager for Poland.
Helena was previously clinical operations director for ClinPharm, which Synexus acquired last year, while Radoslaw has been with Synexus since 2004 and has recently seen his responsibilities increase as the number of sites in Poland has risen from one to four.
Synexus’ chief operating officer Jane Restorick said: “Helena has been involved in clinical trials for over ten years and has worked with the major pharma and CRO’s. She brings with her particular expertise in relation to the German market where we are keen to maximise our business development opportunities.
“Likewise, Radoslaw, who has already been key to our success in Poland will be using his considerable experience to help drive our new business development in this country where the potential for growth remains high and where we are already seeing increasing interest from sponsors.”
The appointments of Helena and Radoslaw follow the recent promotion of Dr Erika Nemeth to country manager for Hungary as the company re-organises its management teams for Western, Central and Eastern Europe.
Dr Helena Sigal and Dr Radoslaw Janiak both report directly to Jane Restorick, while Dr Erika Nemeth reports to Dr Christian Tueni, who heads up Synexus operations in Hungary as well as the Ukraine, Austria and Bulgaria.
